1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use LiftsForge, we may collect:

• Account information such as your Firebase user ID, email address, and display name.
• Training information you add or import, including workout history, exercises, sets, notes, schedules, goals, and training preferences.
• Coaching information generated for you, such as training plans, workout explanations, weekly previews, and workout reviews.
• Technical and service information needed to operate the app, such as request logs, timestamps, and basic error diagnostics.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

• Authenticate your account and keep your data associated with you.
• Import and store your training history.
• Generate coaching books, workout explanations, reviews, and related AI coaching features.
• Sync data between the app and backend services.
• Maintain security, prevent misuse, and improve reliability.

3. AI processing

When AI coaching features are enabled, LiftsForge may send relevant training context, goals, and workout information to the configured AI provider so it can generate coaching output. Those requests are limited to information needed to provide the feature.

Generated outputs may be stored in our backend so they can be shown again later and so the app does not need to regenerate the same response every time.

4. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only with service providers that help us run LiftsForge, such as:

• Authentication providers used to verify sign-in.
• Cloud or hosting providers used to operate the backend and database.
• AI providers used to generate coaching content when those features are used.

We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the security of the service.

5. Data retention

We retain account and training data for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your coaching history, comply with legal obligations, and resolve security or operational issues.

6. Your choices

You can choose what training information you add to the app.

You can delete your account directly in the The Forge app: Settings → Account → Delete account.

If you no longer have access to the app, visit liftsforge.com/deleteme or email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You should only use the service if you are comfortable with that risk.

8. Children

LiftsForge is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page.
